3D Modelling

The following links show some preliminary results from our 3-dimensional modelling code currently under development.

The results presented here have been run with ALOES, a version of a 3D adaptive ALE (Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian) FE (Finite Element) code developed by Philippe Fullsack, Jean Braun and Marthijn de Kool in a partnership involving the Dalhousie Geodynamics Group and the Research School of Earth Sciences at Australia National University. Graphics for the web page were produced by Ankit Bajaj.

Another version of the code, based on the same principles and currently named DOUAR, is under completion at the University of Rennes by Jean Braun and Cedric Thieulot.
